Eileen Daly's former band Jezebel played in her own words, "an eclectic mix of rock, goth and perverse fairy tales". Jezebel worked with the likes of producer and musician Steven Severin, who had provided music for the film 'Visions of Ecstasy' by Nigel Wingrove.

After Jezebel, Eileen craved a new musical direction, and so The Couresans were born. Alongside Eileen Daly (vocals and percussion) is Ben Thirkettle (Lead guitar), formally of Goodbye Planet and Sindi Dumanowska (backing vocals). The band play a combination of gypsy, glam and rock.
